Technoscope fest at Dharwad college
THE SDM College of Engineering and Technology, Dharwad, is conducting "Technoscope-5,'' a State-level technical competition for engineering students, on May 18.
Around 200 students are participating in the event, which is conducted every year and has become popular, according to Shirkol, the coordinator. The event consists of paper presentation and innovative ideas in the following fields:
Civil Engineering: GIS and Digital Photogrammetry; Super Skyscrapers; Expressways and grade separators.
Mechanical Engineering: Computational Fluid Dynamics; Smart Materials; Supply Chain Management.
Electrical and Electronic Engineering: Power Electronics and Energy Conservation; Energy Efficient Electrical Meters; GIS Applications to Electrical Engineering.
Electronics and Communication Engineering: Signal Processing; VLSI and Embedded Systems; and Communications and Networking.
Computer Science and Engineering: Wireless and Mobile Computing; Web based Metal/Grid/P2P Computing; Heterogeneous Computers.
Chemical Engineering: Petroleum Fermentation; Optimisation Techniques in Chemical Process; Downstream Processing.
