Telugu university courses on offer
Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into various courses offered on its campuses in Hyderabad, Rajahmundry, Srisailam, Kuchipudi and Warangal.
The University is offering a variety of subjects of study which include Carnatic music (vocal, veena, mrudangam), Kuchipudi, Andhra Natyam, theatre arts, folk arts, folklore, painting and sculpture, mimicry, jyothisham, communication and journalism, harikatha, lalita sangeetam, padya natakam, applied linguistics, Telugu literature, history, culture and archaeology, comparative literature, travel and tourism, Indian management and personality development, Sanskrit and English.
Candidates can obtain application forms and prospectus from any of the campuses of the University from June 1, in person by giving a demand draft of Rs.250 in favour of the Registrar, P.S. Telugu University, Hyderabad.
Applications can also be obtained by post by sending a requisition specifying the course and department along with a crossed DD of Rs.250 with a self-addressed envelope with a stamp of Rs.50. The last date for submission of application forms is June 30.
For distance education courses of M.A. degrees in jyothisham, Telugu and Sanskrit and the modern Telugu certificate course (for non-Telugus), the last date is July 31. With a late fee of Rs. 100, the last date is August 31. Applications for all the above courses can also be downloaded from the university website, www.Teluguniversity.ac.in.
A DD of Rs.250 is to be enclosed at the time of submission of the same.
