Practise for SAT, TOEFL


Two books in the CliffsTestPrep series from Wiley Dreamtech India offer an opportunity to those who want to prepare for the new Scholastic Aptitude Test 2005 and the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). They give a detailed explanation of what the tests mean, how they are structured and also an analysis of past tests.

The New SAT 2005 by Jerry Bobrow incorporates three practice tests and a full-length practice test of the new sections. Unlike the old SAT pattern, the new one has several modified features in the critical reading and mathematics sections and an entirely new writing section. The book is priced at Rs.199.

The Computer-Based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 2005 by Michael A Pyle comes with a set of Compact Discs that will provide a feel of the test, besides six full-length practice examinations. Additional test-taking tips and tricks are also provided at www.cliffsnotes.com. Rs.299.
