Diploma in commodities trading

COMMODITY MARKET is a booming field in need of trained professionals. A Diploma in Commodities Trading launched recently promises to train and provide the expertise needed to understand commodity market.

The three-month programme, launched jointly by the Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (Mumbai) and Multi Commodity Exchange of India, covers fundamental and technical analysis and risk management.

The programme, which has an emphasis on online trading, also provides basic guidelines for candidates to set up commodities desk. Besides Indian candidates, NRIs and foreign nationals can benefit from the course, which includes international case studies.
