Those who have passed plus two examinations with high marks in physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics/home science subject combinations are eligible to pursue B.Sc. Zoology. Aspirants must also have an interest in wildlife.

To become a zoologist, you have to pursue a basic university degree in zoology and then go for M.Sc. and Ph.D. programmes in zoology or allied subjects. Those who secure a high qualification in zoology/allied fields can find employment in wildlife/environmental conservation, agriculture, fisheries and research/academic fields.
