GURUNANAK ENGINEERING COLLEGE: Engineering colleges are often places where students get to understand what typical campus life is, more so if you are a first year student. Away from the rigours of junior colleges, engineering colleges provide them with a welcome respite, a new-found freedom.

For starters, there is a much bigger campus along with other amenities, be it sports or library. And yes, engineering colleges are also the places where they discover the art of bunking classes! Now is bunking the classes good? Put this question to any B.tech student, the answer is an affirmative yes! They bunk classes to explore this ever-happening city and its delightful destinations.

In my view, I think students should be given the liberty to bunk classes occasionally as long as they maintain their attendance and performance in exams.

Bunking classes not only enables them to enjoy their time, but also helps in getting their mind away from the tough world of academics albeit momentarily. Relaxed and fresh from the happiness of a day-out, they get back to the classroom happily. This, in turn, surely helps them in faring better at the exams.

A word of caution though, students should ensure that at the end of the day they do not repent over the days they bunked the class.
