CAT feather in Manya's cap
Coaching of Common Admission Test (CAT) adds new features every year with the competition growing among the coaching institutes to attract the students.
Of course, it is leading to new methods of preparation and evaluation of the candidates and rectify the flaws. ManyaCAT, introduced by Manya Education Private Ltd, is one such new programme using technology to the hilt.
The programme, offered by The Princeton Review, video records every single student right from the first day as a part of the personality development component. The experts correct the flaws and candidates come out of the course more confident of themselves.
"After it is the personality of the person that decides the fate and not just the intelligence," says Nidhi Khaitan Modi, Executive Director, Manya Education Pvt Ltd.
The ManyaCAT programme is designed on the lines of GMAT and GRE since 40 per cent of CAT is similar to those tests. The programme ensures practical and continuous skill enhancement with real life and closely simulated learning environments.
There are 10 minutes general and business awareness sessions at the beginning of the class, self-monitoring of progress by student and one-to-one mentoring.
"Both brilliant and average-skilled students can hope to master CAT and make it to IIMs," Ms. Nidhi feels. The course is available at The Princeton Review centres in Delhi and Hyderabad.
