Radio route to education

In what could be termed a giant leap in taking education to the doorsteps of women, Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam (SPMVV) is planning to take the FM radio route to reach out to the rural areas, for which it is contemplating running a radio station.

The varsity is considering seeking the help of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in executing the scheme.

The facility will also be used by the extension departments like NSS and Women's studies for preparing study and publicity material.
