Learn about security in mobile networks

A ONE-DAY seminar, `Security in Mobile Networks', was organised by the Amritha Vishwa Vidyapeetham and the Coimbatore Centre of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers recently.

Student project

A student project contest was also conducted along with the seminar.

Projects touched upon advanced areas of wireless controls, logic and communication systems, medical systems, digital signal processing and microcontrollers. More than 200 participants from several engineering colleges participated.

V. Appakutty, Chief Engineer, All India Radio and Doordarshan, inaugurated the seminar and delivered a talk on cyberlaws.

The event was organised by the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the College.
