Want to know more about gems and jewellery? SinGem-India has opened a first-of-its-kind jewellery school in Tamil Nadu.

According to various surveys, Indians are high on the global list when it comes to gold and diamond usage. This is in addition to the exports contributing to a sizeable presence in the world jewellery trade.

SinGem has training schools in Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Guwahati.

The Chennai centre's training locations are at Purasawalkam, Teynampet, Anna Nagar, Chromepet, Nungambakkam, Kilpauk and T. Nagar.

SinGem offers a one-year diploma course `Gem and Jewellery Professional'.

The course content includes diamond grading and pricing, CAD, jewellery design artist, costume jewellery, diamond assorting, gem grading & identification and gold polishing and plating.
