Entrance test
The Department of Commerce of the Delhi School of Economics, under the University of Delhi, has invited applications for the Common Entrance Test for admission to the Master of International Business (MIB) and Master of Human Resource and Organisational Development (MHROD) courses.
The test will be held in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Guwahati from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on February 4, 2007. Graduates in any discipline, with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate (relaxation of 5 per cent marks for Scheduled Caste-SC, Scheduled Tribe-ST and physically handicapped-PH candidates), and those appearing for the final-year degree examination are eligible to apply.
The prospectus and application form can be obtained in person or by post from the Section Officer, Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi - 110 007 against a bank draft for Rs. 500 for one course and Rs. 800 for both the courses (Rs. 400 and Rs. 600, respectively, for SC, ST and PH categories), drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at the State Bank of India Service Branch (code no. 7687), Delhi.
To obtain the form by post, send a self-addressed envelope (28x22 sq. cm) with a demand draft for Rs. 600 for a course and Rs. 900 for both the courses (Rs. 500 and Rs. 700, respectively, for SC, ST and PH categories), along with the requisition. Write the name, address, telephone number, centre and courses applied for on the back of the bank draft.

The last date for receipt of the applications is January 17. The two-year (four semesters), full-time professional programme will begin in July.
PG diploma
Applications have been invited for a Common Aptitude Test (CAT) in New Delhi on January 14 for admission to the one-year, full-time postgraduate diploma course in integrated geriatric care, conducted by the National Institute of Social Defence (under the Union Government), New Delhi - 110 066. The number of seats is 20.
Graduates from a recognised university with 55 per cent marks are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to graduates in sociology, social work/ social welfare, anthropology, psychology, nursing and home science. Age of the applicants, as on October 1, 2006, should be between 21 and 45.
Application forms and other details can be downloaded from the website www.nisd.gov.in from November 17 to 29.
The last date for receipt of the completed applications is December 8.
