Helping BPO staff in their careers
OnTrac, a leading provider of operations-oriented training and certification programmes for mid-level managers in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry, has launched the "Xcelerate" programme for the senior frontline staff within the BPO industry.
The programme is aimed at reducing attrition among the staff by providing them with opportunities for future roles such as team leaders, quality analysts etc. The programme implementation is spread over a period of one year to help increase employee engagement.
To help employees further their careers, inputs are provided in a structured manner on a wide variety of topics, ranging from core operations to personal development.
For example, employees undergo modules such as metrics, quality, technology, grooming, personal effectiveness etc. All of these skills are imparted through classroom and practice sessions.
"This is yet another first for OnTrac, which has already successfully addressed the need for developing Team Leaders through its Star Certification Programme. The programme will help agents get promoted to a role of their choice within their own organization," said Ravi Venkatesam, Director, OnTrac.
The company plans to train around 2000 BPO employees under this programme within the next year.
