Entrance test for B.Sc in hospitality and hotel administration
In Chennai, the prospectus is available at the Institute of Hotel Management, CIT Campus, Taramani.
The all-India Joint Entrance Examination for admissions to Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration will be held on April 15.
Applicants would have to send in their completed applications by March 9.
The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology and Indira Gandhi National Open University have invited applications for the 2007-2010 batch for about 3,450 seats across India.
Eligibility
Candidates should have passed Class XII in the 10+2 system or an equivalent examination in any stream with English as one of their subjects.
Candidates appearing for their Class XII or equivalent examination in 2007 can also apply.
They should not be older than 22 years as on July 1, 2007, for General and the Physically Handicapped (PH) categories.
They should not be older than 25 years by the same date for the Schedule Caste (SC) and Schedule Tribe (ST) categories.
Application
Information brochures and application forms are on sale and will be available till March 5.
Priced at Rs. 800 for the General and PH categories and Rs. 400 for the SC/ST categories, they can be obtained from institutes of hotel management and food craft institutes and some branches of Syndicate Bank.
