The two-day national-level technical festival, `Synergy,' organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology-Tiruchi, begins on February 24. Aimed at exploring the realms of mechanical engineering and helping students to understand theory in the context of real life, the symposium will provide a platform for students to showcase their talents and share their views on the subject.
A series of paper presentations, technical quizzes, and online design competitions awaits the participation of over 300 students from colleges across the country.
The symposium will also witness technical sessions handled by professors from California Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Technology-Madras and a scientist from NASA.
Workshops on modelling packages, aero modelling and automobile design will be held.
