FTII-Pune entrance test
The entrance test for courses in animation and graphics will be held on June 17 and for the rest of the courses the test is scheduled for May 20.
The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, has invited applications for its entrance test to be held on May 20 for admission to the following courses:
Postgraduate Diploma in Direction, Cinematography Audiography, Editing Duration three years each, seats 12 each.
Entry qualification is bachelor's degree in any discipline. For audiography, physics should have been a subject at the 10 + 2 level. PG Diploma in Acting - Two years. Graduates in any discipline are eligible, seats 20. PG Diploma in Art direction and Production Design - Two years. Entry qualification is bachelor's degree in Architecture/ Painting / Applied Art/ Sculpture/ Interior Designing related fields in fine arts or equivalent diploma, seats 12. Certificate Course in Animation and Computer Graphics - One-and-a-half years, seats 12. Entry qualification is senior secondary (10+2), preference will be given to students who have a diploma from fine arts colleges. PG Certificate Course in Feature Film Screenplay Writing - One year, seats 12, graduates in any discipline are eligible.
PG Certificate Courses in Direction, Electronic Cinematography, Video Editing, Audiography and TV Engineering - Duration one year, seats 10 each. Entry qualification is a bachelor's degree in any discipline. For audiography and TV engineering, applicant should have studied physics at the 10+2 level. The entrance examination for all the courses except the certificate course in animation and computer graphics will be held on May 20 at various centres. The entrance test for certificate courses in animation and computer graphics will be held at FTII, Pune, on June 17, followed by interview on June 19.
