NIMHANS entrance test
The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore (Deemed University), has invited applications for the entrance tests to be held in Bangalore on June 17 for admission to the following courses:
B.Sc. in Nursing - Duration four years, number of seats 75, those who have passed Plus Two/equivalent examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English as subjects and with minimum of 50 per cent marks are eligible to apply. Age limit as on August 1, 2007 is 17 to 25.
B.Sc. in Radiography - Duration three years, seats 10, entry qualification is a pass in Plus Two/equivalent examination with physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology and English. Age limit as on 1st August 2007 is 17 to 25.
DM in Neuroradiology, Neurology; M.Ch. in Neurosurgery; Ph.D. in Clinical Neurosciences (ICMR programme); Post-Doctoral Fellowship courses in Neuro-anaesthesia , Neuropathology.
Applications form can be downloaded from www.nimhans.kar.nic.in and the last date for receipt of applications is April 5.
IMK-MBA
The Institute of Management in Kerala (IMK) under the University of Kerala has invited applications for the entrance test followed by group discussion and interview for admission to its two-year full-time MBA programme conducted at various centres - IMK, Senate Campus (40 seats), Poojappura (50 seats), Alappuzha (50 seats), Adoor (30 seats) and Kollam (50 seats).
Those who have obtained at least 50 per cent marks are eligible. Application forms can be downloaded from www.imk.ac.in The last date of receiving applications is March 25.

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), Longowal (Punjab), has invited applications for admission to the following courses:
Engineering degree (three years duration) in chemical technology with specialisation in polymer technology and paper technology, computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, food technology, instrumentation engineering, mechanical engineering with specialisation in welding technology and information technology.
