Rajalakshmi Engineering College signs MoU with Canadian university
Rajalakshmi Engineering College has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Regina, Canada, for research development and academic discussions.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Allan Cahoon, interim president, University of Regina, and S. Meganathan, correspondent of Rajalakshmi Engineering College. It envisaged close ties between the institutions for joint educational and research activities and exchange of faculty members for research and lectures.
Moreover, the collaboration would encourage exchange of academic materials and publications and student exchange for study and research. Eric Cline, Canadian Minister for Industry and Resources, assured the institution that he would try to simplify the visa procedure for Indian students on their visit to Canada for higher education.
Mr. Meganathan said the collaboration also aimed at research programmes in engineering and business management apart from facilitating higher studies.
