Selection time at IIT Management Studies department

It was selection time at the Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras, last week.

After the entrance test for MBA, it was time for the next phase of the B-School Entrance process which involved group discussions and personal interviews.

The sessions were conducted in three cities — Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai — which was attended by 221, 173 and 210 candidates respectively, according to a press release.

In Chennai, the sessions were conducted over two days.

Each session started with a brief introduction by L.S. Ganesh, head of the department, who spoke on the department's composition as a research institute with 80 research scholars including top professionals from the industry, top educational institutes, etc.

Presentation on the course structure and a Question &Answer session followed, culminating in the selection process.
