The Vellore Institute of Cooperative Management (VICM) has invited application from employees of cooperative institutions as well as individuals to for the Diploma in Cooperative Management it offers.
The course is conducted with the objective of equipping the existing employees with knowledge on all subjects connected with cooperative management and enabling fresh candidates to acquire additional qualifications which would help them in obtaining jobs in cooperative and commercial banks and financial institutions.
According to a release from the Vice Principal of the VICM, the diploma course covers subjects such as cooperative policies and set-up, writing of accounts, auditing, finance management, administration, development of trade, appraisal of jewels, and computer operations, which are very important for those working in cooperative institutions and those seeking jobs in financial institutions.
