PG courses in rural areas

With the intention of making higher education accessible to students from rural areas, Kuvempu University has granted permission to its affiliated colleges in some places to offer post-graduate courses from this academic year.

Political Science will be offered by the Shivalingeshwar First Grade College at Channagiri in Davanagere district, History and Kannada at the Government Arts College at Chitradurga, M.Com at the Government First Grade College at Kadur in Chikmagalur district, M.Sc in Applied Botany and Chemistry at the Government IDSG College at Chikmagalur, M.Sc in Industrial Chemistry at the Sir M.V. Government College at Bhadravati, MBA at the Indira Gandhi First Grade College at Sagar in Shimoga district and MCA at the Government First Grade College at Davanagere.
