Life skills diploma Wassup
A diploma in Life Skills Management is being offered by St. Francis College for Women, Begumpet. The course deals with intrapersonal, emotional and mental skills in addition to stress management, career guidance, money management and decision making
skills. Also, candidates are trained in Human Resource Management and personality development. The course will have workshops, seminars, field visits and guest lectures. Theduration of the course, which starts in September, is six months. For more details contact 2341 8308.
Inter collegiate competitions
As part of the sixty years of Independence celebrations, Nizam College is conducting various competitions for college students (both under graduate and post graduate) on August 10 and 11. On August 10, students can participate in singing patriotic songs (in Hindi and Telugu) and essay writing
(topic: What does freedom as a concept and in practice mean to you?). Also, folk dance, drawing and painting competitions will be held on that day (students will have to bring their own paints and papers).
Poetry recitations and skit competitions (The exhilaration for being free for 60 years) will take place on August 11.
The registration fee for participants is Rs.15 person and Rs.100 per group.
Last date for registrations is August 7.
