Training programme


The KLE University, in collaboration with Sephmer Sciences Inc., U.S., conducted a three-day training programme on “Clinical Trials Development” at its Department of Education for health professionals from July 26 to 28.

The objective was to take fresh stock of the developments in the field of clinical research at home and at the international level. The Vice-Chancellor C.K. Kokate, who presided over the inaugural function, drew attention towards various developments in the field and emphasised the need for more clinical research in the country. He called for greater involvement and efforts from all those concerned to improve medical services and professional standards.

Lisa Castro, President, Sephmer Sciences, Inc., highlighted the potential for clinical research in India and abroad.
