Dravidian varsity to have regional centres
Dravidian University Vice-Chancellor G. Lakshminarayana said four regional centres would be opened from this academic year.
The centres would be located at Viswabharathi Degree and PG College on Nizampet Road in Kukatpally, Thrissur in Kerala, Chennai and Bangalore. Students can pursue their regular courses from these centres and if need, they can also continue it on the u
niversity campus at Kuppam in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
He said four modern professional oriented language studies – M.A. Telugu and Language Teaching, M.A. Telugu Communications and Journalism, M.A. Telugu and Computer Applications and M. S. Computational Linguistics and IT would be introduced from this year.
