C-DiT’s PG diploma entrance test
The Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DiT), an autonomous institution under the Government of Kerala, has invited applications for an aptitude test for admission to the following PG diploma courses.
•PG Diploma in Science and Development Communication (PGDSDC) – One-year course. Course contents include TV production, documentary filmmaking, short film, videography, non-linear editing, sound recording, TV journalism, Multicam, anchoring.
•PG Diploma in Multimedia – One-year course. Course contents include graphic design, multimedia authoring, web engineering.
•PG Diploma in Animation Film Design – One year course. Course contents include cell animation, digital animation (2D and 3D) claymation.
•PG Diploma in E-learning – Six months’ course. Course contents include interactive media, instructional programme design and production.
•Bachelor’s Degree holders in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible for admission to all the above courses.
Application forms and copies of the prospectus are available at the C-DiT office on payment of a DD for Rs.250 drawn in favour of Registrar, C-DiT. Those who want the application form through post may apply to the Course Director, C-DIT, Chithranjali Hills, Thiruvallam, Thiruvananthapuram – 695027. PGP in Banking and Finance
The National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune, has invited applications for admission to its one-year Postgraduate Programme in Banking and Finance. This programme aims to provide analytical skills and perspectives in Banking and Finance to talented meritorious graduates for directly taking up managerial responsibilities in the financial sector.
Entry qualification is three years bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50 per cent marks. Students completing their degree examination by June 2008 may also apply.
All students seeking admission to this PGPBF programme should appear for IIM-CAT to be held on November 18. Also apply to NIBM using a separate application form. It can be downloaded from the website http://www.nibmindia.org. The application fee is Rs.850. The last date for receiving filled in applications at NIBM is December 3. Applicants will be short-listed on the basis of IIM-CAT Score and they will be called for a group discussion and interview during February/March 2008. For more details visit www.nibmindia.org.
