Technical symposium

Students should try to keep abreast of latest developments happening in their chosen fields, Head, Department of Tamil, SIET College , Parveen Sultana said after inaugurating the classes for this academic year at Paavai Engineering College in Namakkal.

College Correspondent Mangai Natarajan presided over the function. Principal K.K. Ramasamy also spoke.

Earlier, the Department of MCA organised a national-level technical symposium.

Papers presented

A total of 132 students presented 78 research papers on various topics at the state-level technical symposium organised by the PGP Polytechnic College in Namakkal recently. Chief Executive Officer, DMW CNC Centre, Erode, N. Shanmugam inaugurated the event.

College Correspondent M. Ganapathy presided over the symposium.

Cash awards

The Sona College of Technology, Salem, presented cash awards totalling Rs. 10 lakh to its teaching staff members during the Teacher’s Day function held recently.
