IDP to organise Australian Education interview
IDP Education Australia, a recruiter of international students for Australian higher education institutions, is organising a series of Australian education exhibitions and interviews in India and Nepal.Over 100 representatives from 40 educational institutions and universities will participate in the event to be held in Chennai on September 19. The programme is supported by the Australian Trade Commission and AEI (Australian Education International).
The programme will benefit students seeking study options in Australia and those interested in online and distance education programmes and studying in offshore campuses of Austrialian universities in Dubai and Singapore.
Live interactions will be facilitated with institution representatives.
Spot admissions are on offer, as are application fee waivers. Pre-registration is required at the IDP office or at www.idp.com/india. Students must bring their original academic documents.
According to the June 2007 data (YTD) released by AEI (Australian Education International), the number of enrolments from India grew by 194.7 per cent, compared to 26.4 per cent and 27.0 per cent respectively for China and Korea.
Australian universities have international linkages and exchanges with prestigious institutions all over the world.
Under the new migration policy, graduating students can now apply for temporary work visas in Australia.
