‘Coimbatore will become IT hub’

CMS College of Science and Commerce organised a national seminar on ‘Mobile Technology’.

Minister for Rural Industries, Pongalur N. Palanisamy, inaugurated the seminar.

Global business

He said that mobile technology had improved global business and international relations.

Coimbatore was going to become an IT hub with the opening of the IT Park, he added.

The Minister said that IT, biotechnology and nanotechnology were going to be thrust areas for future growth.

Symposium

The Association of Computer Science and Engineering of SNS College of Technology recently conducted a national level technical symposium, ‘Xenix -07.’
