FIITJEE talent test on Dec. 2
FIITJEE, an institute for IIT-JEE training is conducting FIITJEE talent reward exam December 2, 2007 in 54 test centres across India including three centres in Hyderabad in Saifabad, Dilsukhnagar, Kukatpally and in Kakinada, Karimnagar, Nellore and Vijayawada.
The test is open to students from class VII to XI and aspiring for success in competitive entrance exams, NTSE, SAT, OLYMPIAD and the IIT-JEE.
Top 500 performers would be awarded with medals, cash prizes, fee waivers for FIITJEE programmes and hostel fee concessions ranging from Rs. 2.5 lakh to Rs. 40,000. Further details and information are available at www.fiitjee.com.
C-DAC entrance
The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Hyderabad, has invited applications for its Common Entrance Test for admission to the following programmes
Diploma in Embedded System Design: Duration 22 weeks full-time course. This course is offered at C-DAC Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mohali, Noida, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, Aurangabad (DOEACE Centre). Course modules include programming concepts and data communication, real-time operating systems, embedded systems programming, 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers and interfacing, digital signal processing, wireless embedded systems design, project and Seminar.
Diploma in system Software Development: Duration 22 weeks full-time programme.
This course is offered at C-DAC Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai. Course modules cover assembly and advanced C/C++ programming, advanced operating systems, computer networking, network security, windows programming and driver development, Linux systems programming and driver development, grid computing , software process management, project and seminar.
The entrance test will be held on January 6 in Hyderabad and Visakhapatanam apart from several other centres across the country and the courses will commence on March 10, 2008.
