Foundation to be laid for Vidya Bhavan
Foundation stone for Vidya Bhavan will be laid on Acharya Nagarjuna University campus on December 14. This building would be constructed within one year with a layout of Rs. 1.5 crore. University Vice-Chancellor will complete the formality.
NSS to get a boost
National Service Scheme will receive a boost on the ANU Campus with a new dedicated building. The building is coming up at a cost of Rs.24 lakh and at 10 a.m on December 14 the Vice-Chancellor will lay the foundation.
UGC sponsored Computer Centre with 40 PCs and a Student Centre would be inaugurated on the campus on December 20.
The UGC has sanctioned Rs.20 lakh for the Computer Centre and Rs.32 lakh for Student Centre.
National Seminar on Communication Skills will be organized on the campus on December 13, Thursday with Anand Group of Companies Chairman P. Anand will be participating as chief guest from United Kingdom.
Academic Senate meeting of ANU to discuss some immediate issues and to ratify decisions of the Executive Committee is scheduled for December 20 at Diechman Auditorium on the campus at 11.30 a.m.
