The Central Institute of Fisheries, Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET), Kochi, has invited applications for an entrance test to be held on June 8 at Kochi for admission to its Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science) course. The four-year programme is affiliated to the Cochin University of Science and Technology.

Entry qualification is Plus Two with a minimum 50 per cent marks in mathematics and science. Those aged 16 to 20 as on October 1 can apply. The number of seats is 20.

Selection is based on the score in the entrance test, academic merit in Plus Two and interview. The application fee is Rs. 250 (Rs. 125 for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates).
