Diploma in financial services

Kakatiya University Vice-Chancellor Prof. N. Linga Murthy inaugurated the one year diploma in financial services course on Friday. Speaking on the occasion Prof. Murthy said that the diploma has been designed by the APSCHE in consultation with corporate banks to improve the employability of the students to suit the corporate sector. This diploma would certainly enhance the employment opportunities for the students, he asserted. Course coordinator Prof. M. Training programme

Kakatiya University Mathematics department is conducting a training programme on topology from March 8 to 11, 2008 for PG teachers of affiliated colleges. According to the director of the training programme Prof. S. Raji Reddy, the main objective of the programme is to orient the faculty members in the subject. University V-C Prof. N. Linga Murthy would inaugurate the programme on 8th March, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Physics seminar hall. IIT Chennai Prof. P. Veeramani, Nagarjuna University Prof. I. Rama Bhadra Sharma, Osmania University Prof. C. Goverdhan, and other would deliver lectures on specific topics.

Samanvaya-2008

Samanvaya – 2008, a two-day training programme for imparting communication skills, aspects of group discussions and the qualities required to fair better in interviews was launched for Osmania University pre-final year students and MCA graduates at University College of Engineering here on Saturday.

The programme is conducted by the university Placement and Training Office in association with T.I.M.E and Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS).

Aspects pertaining to career options for engineering graduates, effective communication skills, group discussion basics (approach and requisites) and mock interviews with expert’s feedback are part of the training programme.

The idea was to train the students to inculcate the skills required to secure jobs during recruitment drives.
