Hotel management JEE
The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology and the Indira Gandhi National Open University have invited applications for the national-level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE 2008) for admission to the three-year B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration course conducted at hotel management and catering institutes. The approximate number of seats available nationally is 4,045.
Those who have passed Plus Two or equivalent examination, or are appearing for it this year, in any stream with English as one of the subjects are eligible to apply. The upper age limit is 22 as on July 1, 2008. The examination is on May 10.
The application form can be downloaded from the website www.nchmct.org.
The application form, acknowledgement card and admit card in triplicate should be sent to the JEE Cell, National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, A- 34, Sector 62, Noida-201 301, through registered post on or before April 11.
Entrance test
The entrance examination covers 30 questions in each of the following areas: reasoning and logical deduction; numerical ability and scientific aptitude; general knowledge and current affairs; general English; and aptitude for the service sector.
