The TAPMI will be starting a full-time, one year Post-Graduate Programme in Management for mid-career executives in July 2008 at its Bangalore campus. The programme is for executives who have completed five to seven years experience in industry or own business.

TAPMI will be starting two more courses in 2009. They are the Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and the Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Business Management. Both will be two-year full-time residential courses.

The PG Diploma in Human Resource Management will be started in collaboration with the National Human Resource Development Network, Hyderabad. “The proposal submitted by TAPMI has been accepted in-principle by the Executive Committee of the National Human Development Resource Network. The MoU is yet to be signed,” says Dr. Nagabrahmam. The minimum qualification for this course is graduation.

Candidates will have to appear for an entrance test, group discussion and interview. The intake is 40 students.

The intake for the P.G. Diploma in Rural Business Management is 60. Graduation is the minimum qualification.

In addition to entrance examinations, students have to take an aptitude test which will probe their interest in rural business.
