Aim high for a bright future, students told

Graduation Day was celebrated recently at VSB Engineering College, Karur. Former Union Cabinet Secretary and now Director, HCL Technologies, T.S.R. Subramanian, participated as the chief guest and distributed degree and merit certificates to students.

College chairman V. S. Balsamy, vice-chairman B. Sathish Kumar and others participated.

Mr. Subramanian gave away the degree certificates to the students and delivered his convocation address.

He urged the students to keep learning ceaselessly, set a goal and aim high for a bright future. He advised them to plan the work and career according to the needs of the changing and competitive world, to achieve success. He also emphasised the need for students to strive for excellence and play a part in nation-building activities.

Lalitha Subramanian honoured a student Punitha of MBA who had secured the 36th rank out of 2,789 students in the Anna University MBA Exams.
