The Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) has invited applications for its July 13 joint entrance examination for admissions to various courses.

A two-year M.Tech. in plastics technology is offered at the Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow and Hajipur centres. The qualification required for admission is B.E. or B.Tech. in mechanical, chemical, production or polymer engineering, or M.Sc. in polymer science or chemistry with specialisation in polymers.

A four-year B.Tech. in plastics technology is conducted at the same three centres.

Those who have passed Plus Two or equivalent examinations with mathematics, physics and chemistry can apply.

Applications can be downloaded from www.cipet.gov.in Online registration can also be done. The last date for the receipt of application forms is June 16. The courses will start on August 18.
