HCL Infosystems launched its first career development centre (CDC) in Visakhapatnam recently, with an objective to meet the increasing demand for skilled professionals in the IT sector.

HCL’s CDC provides specially designed courses to groom students and make them employable by the industry. It is the second such centre in AP after Hyderabad.

The courses will focus on hardware, networking and various software areas like Java and dot.net technologies. The duration of the courses vary from six months to one year and there are also a couple of short-term modular courses that cater to the industry requirement. The CDC also imparts soft skills and communication skill modules to students.
