Award for TNAU student
ACHIEVEMENT: V.S. Susha, student of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, receiving the award from K.L. Chopra, Emeritus Professor, IIT, New Delhi.
V.S. Susha, M.Sc. (Agronomy), of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, has won an award for the best poster at the international conference on “Magnetic Materials and their Applications in the 21st Century” in New Delhi. The poster competition was organised by the Magnetic Society of India recently at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), New Delhi. Ms. Susha received the award from Vikram Kumar, Director, NPL. Her poster was based on the paper “Mitigatin
g Atrazine Herbicide Residue in Soil Using Iron Oxide Nanoparticles Doped with Silver and Palladium Nanoparticles and with Different Stabilising Agents”.
The research work based on the paper is being carried out by her under the guidance of C.R. Chinnamuthu, Associate Professor (Agronomy), TNAU.
