NIT to host management event
Now it is the turn of management students on NIT campus. While the engineering graduates are busy bracing up for the Spring Spree festival, the management graduates are coming out with their own edition, ‘Cura 09’ – a national-level management event.
The Centre for Management Studies, National Institute of Technology (NIT), will be hosting the event on February 6 and 7.
Student coordinators Sundeep and Ashish Soni said they expect about 500 delegates from prestigious management institutes from across the country. The event will have presentation of papers, B-plan and Ad-Mad. Mr Sundeep explained that ‘Cura’ is a Latin word signifying `thoughtfulness’.
The event aims to bring out innovative ideas from creative minds in impacting new business trends.
According to him, about 500 delegates would be taking part to present their papers, 100 alumni members would also turn up to listen to corporate speakers and guest lectures by senior faculty of IIT-M, IIT-B and IIMs.
The participants and sponsors can have more details about the festival on www.cura09.com.
