In view of the growing demand for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) professionals in the industry, Bangalore-based EDS Technologies is offering short-term courses in the area.
The courses in PLM tools such as CATIA, ENOVIA VPM and SmartTeam offer a complete solution in designing, analysing, manufacturing and servicing of products. The centre will also offer the customised PLM training for professionals in specific modules with the aim of making them more valuable for their organisations. The focus of training will be on building domain expertise in the areas of engineering and manufacturing.
"The students will be trained by professionals and made industry-ready,” said president of EDS S. Senthil. Due to the rapid growth of engineering services and manufacturing industries, PLM graduates are in a great demand, he claimed. Aerospace, automobile, Government & Defence, and electronics are among the sectors hunting for the best talent. “The centre will ensure placement assistance to these students despite the present economic recession,” he added.
The course is open to professionals from engineering services and manufacturing industries, engineering graduates who want to pursue their career in PLM or any other professional who is working and seeking to upgrade his PLM skills. The company has entered into commercial training by opening training centres of PLM. The company is now looking forward to open two more training centres in Pune and Delhi to train 300 students.
