Last date for the issue of application forms by post is March 6. Last date for the receipt of completed application forms is March 16.

JNU entrance

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, has invited applications for a national-level entrance test for admission to various programmes coming under Category A. The entrance test will be held between May 15 and 18. Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Chennai, Madurai, Goa, Pondicherry, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Mumabi and New Delhi will be among the test centres.

Master of Public Health; MA in economics, geography, history, political science and sociology; M.Phil. and Ph.D.

For getting application form by post, send a request along with a crossed Bank Draft for Rs.300 drawn in favour of Jawaharlal Nehru University payable at New Delhi and a self-addressed, unstamped envelope of minimum 30x25 cm size to the Deputy Registrar (Admission), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi – 110 067. It should be clearly indicated in the application form and envelope for which category application is required.

Direct admission is provided to Ph.D. programmes in all schools, except School of Life Science, under Category B and for M.Phil. (pre Ph.D.) and Ph.D. in science schools, except molecular biology (for JRF holders only), under category C.
