Short film contest
Anna University’s Department of Media Studies is holding a national-level short film festival for students on August 27 and 28. The Gateway Awards are being organised by the department for the fifth consecutive year and other events include an ad film contest, a design contest and the Gateway Conference. In the short film contest, the shortlisted entries will be screened at Inox, the multiplex partner of the fest on Day One.
The Gateway Conference will be held in the college premises on Day Two, and a number of eminent personalities from the media industry are expected to participate in the function, which will be followed by prize distribution.
The deadline for the design contest has been extended to August 25. Students can design posters or banners on the theme ‘Go- Eco Friendly’.
Entry is open to college students and there are attractive prizes to be won.
