How is the expression ‘en bloc’ pronounced?

There are several ways of pronouncing this expression of French origin. One simple way is to pronounce the first word like the word ‘on’, and the second, like the word ‘block’. The expression is pronounced ‘on BLOCK’ with the stress on the second word. It means ‘all together’, ‘as a single unit’.

* The Ministers are threatening to resign en bloc if Jagan is not made the Chief Minister.

* The students and teachers en bloc are demanding the resignation of the Vice Chancellor.
