Cartoon contest on climate change
British Council in association with Ken Sprague Fund, the United Kingdom, is organising a cartoon contest on climate change.
The contest is open to those in the age group of 18 and 35 years.
Thenes
The various themes on which the cartoons can be made are: drought and water shortage, deforestation and rain forest destruction, melting of the ice caps, role of industry in polluting the atmosphere, devastation of the seas and disappearance of marine life, and climate change in an urban environment.
The entries will be adjudged by a panel of judges from India and the U.K. There are exciting prizes to be won.
Last date
The award winning entries and the ones that are short-listed will be exhibited in various places in India. Last date for receiving entries is November 30. For details visit www.britishcouncil.org.in/LCF.
