Applications invited for IIT-JEE 2010
The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) have invited applications for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-2010) to be held on April 11, 2010 for admission to their various undergraduate courses including four-year B.Tech., B.Pharm., B.Des., five-year integrated M.Tech., dual degree M.Tech. and five-year integrated M.Sc. courses conducted at Institute of Technology under Banaras Hindu University and Indian School of Mines University at Dhanbad apart from the IITs. There
will be two papers for the test each of three-hour duration. Both papers are objective type and questions will cover topics in chemistry, mathematics and physics. Entrance test centres will include Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Thrissur and Kozhikode in Kerala.
Eligibility
Those who have passed Plus Two with mathematics, physics and chemistry in 2009 with 60 per cent marks in aggregate and those who are appearing for the qualifying examination in 2010 are eligible to apply.
Online and offline applications facilities are provided. One can submit application online through the following web sites along with a fee of Rs.900 through credit/ debit cards of major banks or through challan of select banks.

Application forms and information borchure can also be obtained from November 16 to December 15 from the select branches of Indian Bank on payment of Rs.1,000. In Kerala Indian Bank branches at Alappuzha, Kannur, Ernakulam (MG Road, Willginton Island), Kottayam, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur will distribute application forms.
