UoH signs MoU with Canadian varsity
University of Hyderabad (UoH) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Alberta (UoA), Canada at a formal signing event at the university. Vice-Chancellor of UoH Seyed E. Hasnain and Indira Samarasekera, president, UoA signed the MoU on behalf of the respective universities in the presence of the Pro-Vice-Chancellors, Registrar and the Deans of Schools; Ms. Marcia Lang, Chief of Staff and University Relations in the President's Office, Mr. Kasi Rao, Senior Adviser to the President on India, and Ms. Danielle Scott, Regional Manager (Asia), International Relations and Recruitment participated in the event.
The broad areas of collaboration are exchange of faculty and students, joint research activities and publications, to hold joint seminars and to organize shot-term academic programmes.
