Inking deal: Representatives of Bharathiar University and University of Canada West during the exchange of an agreement between the two universities at the Bharathiar University.
Nehru College of Management
Nehru College of Management, Coimbatore, has inked a memorandum of understanding with Stamford Raffles College, Singapore, for conducting a twinning MBA programme.
R. Arumugam, Principal of the Stamford Raffles College, and P. Krishna Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of the Nehru Group of Institutions, signed the MoU.
Under the aegis of the MoU, students can undertake a four-month study at Nehru College and eight months study at the Singapore college that will enable them get a degree from the University of Derby, United Kingdom.
They can also work on a six-month project in Singapore for which they will be paid a stipend. They also have a chance of getting absorbed by the company where the project is executed.
Bharathiar University
Bharathiar University has inked an agreement with the University of Canada West by which students pursuing management at the Indian university get an opportunity to continue the second year at the Canadian university. The agreement also facilitates the exchange of students for the course. It will also facilitate Bharathiar University to get accredited by ABEST 21, an international accrediting body in Japan.
