Accolades for the line-up

THE US television has honoured Hallmark Channel's programme line-up with 18 Emmy Award nominations for this year.

It includes movies, that are original to the Channel. The 55th Annual Emmy Awards will take place at the Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on September 21.

Tennessee William's Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone is leading the pack with five nominations, Frank Herbert's Children of Dune with four nominations, Homeless To Harvard: The Liz Murray Story, three nominations, Soldier's Girl, two nominations and A Painted House, Gleason, Monte Walsh and Out of the Ashes, one nomination each.

Look out for these movies to be aired on the channel later this month and in the following months.

The Emmy nominated drama series, My Big Fat Greek Life and The Guardian will be aired in October and November respectively.
