Navaratri fest at Vaishnavi temple
THE NAVARATRI festival of Sri Vaishnavi Temple in Thirumullaivayil, will be celebrated from September 25 - October 5.
The Goddess will be adorned as Garudavahini, Simhavahini, Annapoorani and so on, on each day of the festival. Vocal and instrumental music recitals by eminent vidwans such as Lalgudi Krishnan and Vijayalakshmi, Bombay Sisters, Maharajapuram Srinivasan and Anuradha Krishnamurthy have also been organised.
Contributions in the form of cash by M.O., Cheque or DD payable to The Sanmarga Sangam, c/o Sri Vaishnavi Shrine, Carshed Complex P. O., Thirumullaivayil, Chennai-600 109. Ph: 26380337, or kind, may be given. Prior intimation may be given if parcels containing perishable matter are sent. Cash donations are exempt from IT under 80G valid up to March 31, 2005.
