The story revolves round the life of Arvind, an enterprising journalist. Leading a happy life with wife Radha and daughter, Varsha, a college graduate, Arvind is a competent journalist in the city.

Trouble shoots up when Arvind challenges to get an interview from Devika, also a journalist, who was in the news a few weeks earlier. Repeated attempts by Arvind to get her interview irritate Devika but the hostility grows into a mutual professional admiration. And it goes beyond barriers when Arvind decides to live with Devika which affects Radha.

Varsha, who dislikes Devika initially, starts liking her and they become good friends.
