Mega Cineplex in Malaysia

GOLDEN SCREEN Cinemas (GSC) at Mid Valley Megamall is the biggest Cineplex in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which has 18 screens. GSC is the merged entity of the two giants of the Malaysian Film Industry — Golden Comm (GCM) and Cathay Cinemas Sdn Bhd (CCSB) — a significant merger in the Malaysian cinema entertainment business.

GSC has 16 locations and 86 screens with a seating capacity of 20,279 in and around Malaysia, at Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Pehang, Peneng, jahore, Kedah and Kota Kinabalu.

GSC's Mid Valley Mega Mall, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, has 18 screens in one Cineplex where Chinese, Japanese, English, Hindi, Malay and Tamil films are screened. English films are simultaneously released here when they are released in the U.S. It also has the facility of showing a particular film at a stretch in a number of theatres.

The Cineplex has sofa sets for relaxation, phone connections for e-presentation, LCD projection for full audio-visual presentation, stadium seating, point-of-sale materials and thematic display, excellent acoustics and so on. Movie bashes, charity premieres, birthday premieres, corporate functions and contest winners' screenings are also held here.
